Admission
Criteria

  • High school diploma or equivalent (undergraduate programs)
  • Bachelor's degree in music or related field (graduate programs)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent academic standing
  • English language proficiency (TOEFL 90+ for international applicants)
  • Two contrasting works from different periods (pre-1900 and post-1900)
  • One work demonstrating technical command and virtuosity
  • Sight-reading at the live audition
  • Program-specific repertoire listed in audition guidelines
  • Completed online application form
  • Official academic transcripts
  • Two letters of recommendation from music educators
  • 500-word personal artistic statement
  • Audition recording (15–20 minutes, unedited)
  • Application fee: $85 (waived for demonstrated financial need)
