Undergraduate applicants must submit a recorded audition of 10–15 minutes demonstrating technical proficiency and musical interpretation. Specific repertoire requirements vary by instrument and are detailed in the Admissions section. Live auditions are held in March and May for the following academic year.
Yes. The Conservatoire offers merit-based scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition for exceptional candidates. Need-based bursaries are also available. All applicants are automatically considered for merit awards; financial aid applications are submitted separately after receiving an offer of admission.
Absolutely. We welcome students from over 40 countries. International applicants follow the same audition process and are eligible for all scholarships. We provide visa guidance and have dedicated international student support services throughout the enrollment process.
Tickets can be reserved directly through our Performances page or by contacting the box office at tickets@conservatoire.edu. Season subscription packages offer priority booking and significant savings. The box office opens 90 minutes before each performance for walk-in ticket sales.
Most student recitals are free and open to the public. Faculty concerts and major orchestral performances require tickets. Our calendar clearly indicates which events are free admission. We encourage the community to attend and support our students.
Yes. Whitmore Concert Hall, the Salon de Musique, and Chamber Hall are available for private hire subject to availability. We also offer ensemble hire for corporate events, weddings, and private concerts. Contact our Events Office for pricing and availability.
Limited parking is available on campus for visitors with disabilities. We strongly encourage use of public transport — the nearest underground station is a 5-minute walk. Secure bicycle storage is available on site. Nearby public car parks are listed on our visitor information page.
